Will Montgomery is a successful professional football player and seemingly has it all. He’s not used to being told no, and certainly doesn’t take no for an answer. So when he turns his charms on his sister’s sexy rocker-chick friend Meg, he’s not only turned down, but met with open hostility, piquing his curiosity and libido. He’s determined to show her that he’s not the arrogant jock she thinks he is, and to get her into his bed. Megan McBride is not impressed with Will Montgomery, his fat contract, fancy car, or his arrogant public persona. She doesn’t have time for a relationship, and if she’s learned anything in life, it’s that loving means losing, so she guards her heart ferociously. But she can’t deny the overwhelming attraction to the sexy, tattooed athlete, and when Will starts breaking down her defenses and grabs hold of her heart, will she be able to admit her feelings for him, or will her troubled past cause her to lose the first man she’s ever truly loved? Play With Me is the third book in the With Me In Seattle Series.

I can't believe I delayed in reading this book for so long. All because of 2 bad reviews I had read. For me, This. Was. Perfect. It's what I have been looking for in a romance novel for years! No angst or plot twists or suspense. Just two people falling in love and the author SHOWING it to you instead of just telling you. I personally find every day things done together with someone you love to be romantic, a chance for bonding too. This book had an abundance of those. Will Montgomery is every woman's fantasy boyfriend and not just physically. He tells Meg he loves her everyday (even when she can't say it back), he listens when she speaks, he defends her to her mother, he makes her feel safe and so so much more. If you just want to read a sugary sweet story with no angst and lots of love, you have to read this! Other factors that may help you decide whether or not to read:1. Will and Meg have sex / make love a lot (but it's balanced by the non-sexual bonding in my opinion)
2. There are some curse words (not too many but sometimes it felt out of character for Megan to me)
3. The story is told mainly from Meg's POV. Three or so times, we get Will's POV
4. No typos or other editing errors (that I picked up)
5. No cliff hanger and an HEA
Happy reading!

Play With Me With Me In Seattle Volume 3 Kristen Proby 9781633500174 Books Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed a will and Meg's story.
Meg is a friend of Jule's and Nat's from college and they've lost touch through the years..a chance meeting reconnects the friends and brings them back together. Meg knows Will, of course, and has been trying to get him and guys from the team to come visit the kids at the hospital she's a nurse at..after some confusion, they finally come together and the Sparks cannot be hotter.----Will loves Meg and will do anything to protect her, even deal with her shiftless mother. All he needs is for Meg to love him just as much.
I loved how there story flows. Loved how Will handles Meg and vice versa..my favorite part was Jule's bachelorette party. Drunk girls are too funny. I can already see how 2 couples are coming together. On to the next one.
This is book 3 of the With me in Seattle series. Meg went to school with Jules & Nat ( books 1 & 2) and hasn’t seen them in a while until she runs into Jules and her brother Will at a restaurant. While will tries his best to impress Meg she’s not having it, and he doesn’t understand why his “charm” has failed him. Gettin Meg to open up to him will be a bigger struggle than he realizes, she has too many hurts in her past that he will end up having to make up for. That doesn’t stop Meg from being a super funny drunk, or Will from managing to stick his foot in his mouth multiple times. I love their chemistry and their playfulness, completely different from the sweet and romantic dynamic we see with Nat & Luke, and the powerplay dynamic with Jules & Nate.
Kristen Proby continues to set the reading world on fire in Play With Me. This is the third book of her With Me in Seattle series. Though it tells a complete story, I would highly recommend the entire series from the start. Kristen has created a fantastic world in this series and as she writes one storyline, she also brilliantly embeds future threads for new stories to come. With each book in this incredible series, I fall more in love with each of the memorable characters, their siblings and extended family. I devour each book and find each one gets better and better.
Play with me tells the story of Will Montgomery and Megan McBride. Will is the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He is used to fame and is not really used to being told no, when it comes to things he wants. When he meets his sister's college friend, Megan McBride he is captivated by her spunk and no BS personality. But for some reason, she wants nothing to do with him.
Megan McBride is a nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital in the teen cancer ward. Her life is her job and she has little energy left over for much else. She specially doesn't have time for a famous football player with a fancy car and an arrogant peraona in public. When Will starts to break down her defenses, she is scared of what he might reveal.
I loved the combustible chemistry and memorable characters in this story. I am intrigued by the other possible storylines that have come out of this great read. I have already "one-clicked" the next book in this series and cannot wait to dive in! Well done Kristen Proby!
PS - The audio version of this book only enhanced Kristen's brilliant work. Jennifer Mack has a stellar performance as does Eric Michael Summer.
I'm starting to have a bit of conflict in regards to this series.
I love these characters, the whole family and extended family. That alone has been what keeps me coming back for the next book. I want to know what happens next in their stories.
I loved Will and Meg. They are both successful, feisty, straight talkers who know what they want and how far they are willing to go to get it.
Will, for the first times has found a woman (who is not family) that he wants to protect. And sets about letting Meg know his feelings.
Meg on the other hand would love nothing more than to be with Will, but she knows she'll never measure up to the kind of woman she thinks he should be with. But sometimes the heart overrides the brain. She just needs to work through her trust issues and it'll be smooth sailing. Hopefully.
I'm finding this series is becoming a bit predictable, and repetitive. Predictability I can handle, it's the over abundance and repetitive sex scenes that are driving me crazy. I end up skipping through most of them. They pop up in the most ridiculous and inopportune times. They don't always fit the scene, it just seems like the author has a set number of paragraphs and when she hits that number, insert sex scene.
We were introduced to Meg's rock star foster brother in this book. He seems to be a bit obsessed with Luke's uptight sister Samantha. I can't wait to see where that story goes.
